State Championship
This weekend we had a great tournament in Hillsboro for our Oregon State Championship. We started off the tournament on Saturday by meeting some teams and meeting with the judges for our presentation. We then got to play some team laser tag and got ready for the next morning. The next day's matches all went great save one in which our robot didn't move because of a phone connection issue. Regardless in qualification we went 4-1 and ended in the third seat. After a very dramatic alliance selection, we were lucky enough to be teamed with ____ Scorpion Robotics and 8176 Steelhead Robotics. We sadly were eliminated from play in the quarter finals against ReVamped, Gifted Gears, and C4, but we did get a solid score of 468 in one of our playoff matches. Finally, during the awards ceremony, one of our team members Gordon Dauterman was named Dean's List finalist, and our team was awarded with 1st place design award and 2nd place inspire. We had a blast and can't wait to meet all of the teams at West Regionals in Spokane WA
